So, filling up my Volvo last night set me back to the tune of $38.00.
Yeah. $38 American.
And it wasn't like I had a choice because the gas light was on.
I took 16.245 gallons. And paid $38.00 for the privilege.
For you math geniuses out there, yeah, I paid $2.39 a gallon for mid-grade unleaded gasoline for my car.
On what planet is this right?

The equivalent amount of unleaded here in the UK would be an astonishing $89.043 !!!
So don't feel too bad about it.

There is a silence, then a gunshot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?"
