I took Zoe and Katie to see Cinderella Story today. The best thing about the move (besides that totally yummy Chad Michael Murray, and how lascivious of me is that???) was a trailer for Princess Diaries 2. I'm so looking forward to seeing that and I'm mortified that I feel that way.
Posted by beth at July 25, 2004 11:22 PMI thought one of the resaons to have kids was to be able to kid things without people thinking you are strange. I,also, cannot wait for Princess Diaries 2 to be released.
Posted by: Marjorie at July 26, 2004 07:58 AMThank you Marjorie. I feel a little better now.
Posted by: beth at July 26, 2004 08:21 AMI can't wait either . . . as a matter of fact, I'll probably be attending with my 17 year old daughter. You're never too old for a fun, feel-good movie! :) Mom's need reality breaks too! Probably more than most!
Posted by: BusyMe at July 26, 2004 02:26 PMWhy? I mean, why be ashamed? I thought the novels were delightful, and I enjoyed the 1st movie.
Personally, I prefer most YA novels to contemporary adult novels.
Posted by: liz at August 1, 2004 08:39 PMI doubt I'll be seeing it, but for the first time in a long time (and for the first time since I turned 18), I actually thought a kid was cute, in a non-child-actor way: Rupert Grint from Harry Potter. There's something about him in the third movie that is most yummy and I don't usually like red-heads. I have to keep telling myself, "He's underage, Carol. Back off."
I feel so dirty! *sob*
Posted by: Carol at August 3, 2004 02:05 PMPrincess Diaries 2 has the exact opposite effect on me that it has on you. "SHUT UP!" The commercial has been stuck in my head for about a week, good marketing I guess...
