Posted by beth at September 14, 2004 04:19 PMHoly crap! I thought I was arguing with some suburban housewife... you didn't say you had a MOTORCYCLE LICENSE!
[backing away with hands held out placatingly]
j-j-j-just forget what I said... you were right, I was wrong.... [turns and runs away]
:-)
Seriously, congratulations... I wish my motocylcle license was doing more than gathering lint in my wallet.

Posted by: beth at September 14, 2004 09:36 PMJust be glad you live in Israel, where it's safe! ;)
Posted by: Chuck at September 14, 2004 09:41 PMChuck...glad you put the emoticon or Beth might have thought you were serious, what with you having maxed out her irony meter! =:-0
Posted by: David at September 15, 2004 04:30 AMThe emoticon was strictly so she wouldn't hit me.
;)!
Posted by: Chuck at September 15, 2004 09:54 AMI know I said it over at Chuck's, but it deserves repeating here: Congratulations, Beth!
Wait a minute, y'all live in the Valley, doncha? Mind warning me if you ride through the Toluca Lake area? Thanks! ;p

M1? Awesome, working on getting mine - Riding is the most thrilling & relaxing thing I've come across in a long time.
What are you going to ride? (picking your bike is half the fun)
Posted by: Darin at September 16, 2004 01:10 AMDarin,
We're bike shopping now. I'm going to start with something small-ish and inexpensive so I can get comfortable going more than 20 mph. Maybe a Suzuki GS 500. We looked at one last night but I don't think it will be mine.
I love the look of the cruisers so ultimately that's what I want. I'm partial to the Honda Shadow 650's, but my ultimate dream machine is probably a Fat Boy.
As soon as I get my ride you'll all be subjected to photos, don't worry.
