I remember Kennedy, though when I was born Ike was in office. Arg.

  2. Chuck says:

    Yeah, but you’re really old.

  3. Don says:

I easily remember Kennedy and the election against Nixon. Can’t really recall anything Ike did in office although I was 7 when he left it.

  4. David says:

Those of us born during the Kennedy administration salute you!

  5. Stan says:

Heh. I remember Nixon. The 1968 election was the first one that I was politically aware for. (I turned 9 the Saturday before the election.) What I want to know is where’s our Deep Throat for today to spill the beans about what’s going on now?

  6. Carol says:

Does this mean I’m the youngun’ in these parts? I was born during the Johnson administration and the first president I remember was Ford. My first remembered presidential election was ’76, the year I turned 10.

  7. Ray says:

My mother was pregnant with me when JFK was shot, but I don’t really remember LBJ being president. I do remember being teased mercilessly in 3rd grade when I told other kids my parents were voting for McGovern. I also remember driving back from summer vacation in Boston and we got to pull over and check into a motel early one day because my parents didn’t wanna miss Tricky Dick’s resignation speech on the TV.

  8. GraceD says:

    Like Steve, Ike.

    Psych.

  9. The Butcher says:

I remember Johnson, vaguely. Nixon I remember well.

I was a Camelot baby, though.
